Carmen Paula Romero started his musical studies in Denia where apart from receiving both vocal and choral training she studied piano. She finishes his bachelor’s degree on Piano and Singing in the Esmuc (Higher School of Music of Catalonia).

In 2011-2013 she studied Lied and Oratorium Masters at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna with Professor Gabriel Fontana and Professor Sebastian Vittucci.

Carmen has been awarded with the Second Prize at the 2014 Concurso Internacional de Canto Luís Mariano, the Special Proalpe Prize at the 2014 Concurso Internacional de Canto de Elda, the 2012 Concurso Internacional de Música de Cámara Villalgordo del Júcar and the First Prize at the 2011 Concurs  d’Interpretación Musical Arjau (Barcelona).

From 2009 she has sung in different festivals and theaters such as the Ciclo de Jóvenes Intérpretes del Palau de la Música de Valencia, the Festival de Música Sacra de Catarroja (Valencia), the XII Ciclo de Órgano de Urdaibai (Bizkaia), the Festival de Música Clásica de Teulada-Moraira (Alicante), the Palau de la Música Catalana, the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (Murcia), the Palau Robert (Barcelona), the Teatre Alegria de Terrassa (Barcelona), the Auditorio ADOC de Elda, the Palau de la Música de Valencia; the Palacio del Marqués de Dos Aguas (Valencia), the Teatre Llantiol (Barcelona, the Auditorio de la Sociedad General de Autores de España de Barcelona, the Auditorio de Cuenca, the teatro del Palacio de Schönbrunn (Viena) or the Maison Comunale de Bienne (Suiza).

In the last four years she has made her debut at the Teatro de la Zarzuela (Madrid) with the zarzuela Los flamencos conducted by Cristóbal Soler and as a madrigalist at the baroque opera La guerra de los gigantes with the Capella Mediterranea conducted by García-Alarcón and directed by Gustavo Tambascio, at the Teatros del Canal (Madrid) with El chaleco blanco, conducted by Jordi Navarro and directed by Rita Cosentino and at the Temporada d'Òpera d'Andorra in Bohemios.

Her latest oratorium projects included El Gato Montés conducted by Ramón Tebar and El barberillo de Lavapiés conducted by Miguel Pérez Sierra at the Teatre de la Zarzuela, Schubert Lazarus in the Semana Religiosa de Música de Cuenca, Fauré Réquiem and Messe Basse, Händel Messiah, Mozart Regina coeli, Beethoven 9th Symphony  in the Auditorio Nacional de Madrid and several concerts with the Transbaroque Chamber Orchestra.

In 2021, he completed his studies as a university expert in the PROEL method for the treatment of voice disorders at the Menéndez Pelayo University of Santander, having obtained an honors degree with his research work on vocal warming led by Dr. Borragán. In the same way, it has deepened in the anatomical knowledge through the methods of Blandine-Calais, having attended "The respiratory gesture" and hearing professors of "Abdominales sin riesgo".
